CHILDREN'S
PROGRAMS - Serving the Shepherd and His Lambs
Purpose: To Serve
the Shepherd and Love His Lambs by providing the best possible care
and nurture in an environment where children, parents, and leaders
experience the love of Jesus and receive instruction from the Word
of God.
Children's Ministries
targets children ages infant through 5th grade, and their parents,
and has as its basis for ministry, the Seven Core Values held as
foundational to all ministries at Faith Church: The Bible, Prayer,
Worship, Relationships, Giving, Serving, and Sharing. Vacation Bible School occurs in July and this year was held in the late afternoon/ evening. For movie highlights of the 2008 VBS program, please click the link here.
Faith's
Nurseries: A Nurturing Care Center: The nurseries at Faith seek
to provide quality care in a nurturing environment where the love
of Jesus is shared among care givers, parents, and children. Nursery
care is available during the Sunday morning Worship Service, the
Sunday School Hour, special services, and Wednesday Evening classes.
Infants through ages 3 years old are welcomed in the Nurturing Care
Center.
Children's Church:
Children's programs take place during the services for children ages 3-6. For more information, stop by the Information Center in the lobby. Children are dismissed following
the Children's Blessing near the beginning of the Worship Service.
(September through May)
Sunday School: Children ages 4 years through 5th grade are
welcomed in Children's Sunday School. Opening begins at 11:00 a.m.
in the Worship Center, for a time of praise and worship. Prayers
are said and offerings are received for the children we sponsor
through Compassion International: Samueal and Angela. Following
Opening, children go with their teachers to their classes in the
Upper Level of the Family Life Center. (September through March 30)
